POSITION OVERVIEW
The Private Events Manager leads all aspects of private dining at Carriage House, from inquiry through execution. This guest-facing role ensures highly personalized, seamless events that reflect the club’s elevated standards. While dedicated to private events, this position may occasionally support hero initiatives (Halloween, NYE etc.) and is on track for light leadership responsibilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Client Relations Oversee all private dining inquiries with prompt, polished communication Prepare and send custom proposals aligned with club policies and client goals Conduct site visits and meetings to finalize logistics and suggest enhancements Offer tailored upsells (florals, rentals, wine, entertainment, etc.) Build rapport with members and repeat clients to drive longterm business Planning & Execution Confirm all event details and ensure BEO accuracy Coordinate with chefs and vendors for florals, printing, music, etc. Lead onsite execution with attention to detail and discretion Handle all postevent followups, including invoicing and thankyous Internal Collaboration Track and report on private event revenue Collaborate on vendor sourcing, budgets, and aesthetic direction Begin guiding Membership & Event Coordinator where applicable Contribute to seasonal and strategic event planning alongside Max Growth Path This role is evolving into a light management position with potential for future oversight of additional event staff and deeper involvement in high-level planning About Carriage House Palm Beach Carriage House Club is a modern conception of a classic English social Club presented with a sophisticated, international elegance, luxury and an overlay of wit and whimsy that is a signature of both Palm Beach and English Club style.
