REGIONAL EVENTS MANAGER NORTH POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for advancing the mission of the organization through managing all signature and ancillary events. Responsible for planning, executing, and budgeting for all events.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent community relations and advancement experience and one-year relevant experience Event planning and management experience Ability to lead several projects simultaneously Proficiency in multitasking Computer proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva, and Outlook. Mobile bidding platforms a plus.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
Manage and lead signature events, committees, and projects as assigned. Create, maintain and lead advancement initiatives and campaigns. Meet or exceed all established deadlines. Develop and maintain relationships with donors and volunteers to promote fundraising for the organization. High level of knowledge of event planning and management, including but not limited to maintaining a budget, working with vendors and volunteers, tracking RSVPs, seating management, and running day of event logistics. Represent the organization with excellent public relations at all times. Must be able to work under tight schedules and possess the ability to effectively handle pressure associated with deadlines. Ensure all advancement and fundraising policies, procedures, rules, regulations, standards, and operating protocol are in compliance. Manage day to day general business affairs, to include but not be limited to coordination of interaction with vendors, suppliers, service providers, regulatory agencies, donors, and volunteers. Required to attend, lead, and support organization events or other tasks as assigned.
