Standard Work Duties:

Events Coordinator Actively participates in team development, achieving dashboards, and in accomplishing department goals and objectives. This position requires a person who his highly organized and exhibits a high level of attention to detail and follow up. Must be able to be effective in a team environment working collaboratively, without direct control over or reporting relationships, with their teammates. Responsible for event logistics including, but not limited to, volunteer coordination, permitting, contracts, timelines, sponsorships, merchandise, set-up/clean-up, programs, invitations, and thank you responses. Coordinates detailed budget information for each event, manages the event budget, and at the conclusion of the event prepares a detailed report of income and expenses that can be analyzed and compared to organizational fundraising strategies and benchmarks Maintains up-to-date files for each event that includes detailed information relative to logistics, sales, rules, permits, etc. Promptly and accurately processes gifts and pledges including: acknowledgement letters, procuring possible matching funds and prepares letters for periodic fundraising Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information

Competencies & Skills Essential:

Project management and events planning, marketing, communications. Experience managing relationships with volunteers, vendors and a high-end client or donor base.
