Thoughthe prestigious season-opening NASCAR Cup Series event garners mostof the attention – as well as the largest audience in motorsports -the approximately 500-acre motorsports complex boasts the mostdiverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the titleof “World Center of Racing.” Among the nine major weekends ofracing activity are the Rolex 24 At DAYTONA, the DAYTONASupercross, the

DAYTONA 200

motorcycle classic and the Coke ZeroSugar 400. Rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are notused for events that include track tours, concerts, civic andsocial gatherings, car shows, photo shoots, production vehicletesting and police motorcycle training. Daytona InternationalSpeedway is seeking event employees with cable-based TV experienceand IPTV network infrastructure repair skills who will interactwith our guests and participants during racing events and onsitespecial events.

JOB SUMMARY

Inspect, install, repair, and support cable TV and IPTVinfrastructure and provide guest support for Daytona Intl.

Speedway-related events. This includes large spectator events andtrack rental support throughoutneeded the year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Work closely with the DIS Operations, Venue Technology Manager,and Special Event teams on upcoming events. Support cable TV and IPTV infrastructure in fan areas toinclude the Fan Zone, D500 Club, Garage, Venue Suite, andGrandstand areas. Install and repair indoor and outdoor RF and Network based TVinfrastructure. Be able to help add and replace indoor and outdoor TVs acrossthe property. Be available to support Cable TV and IPTV issues during allmajor events at DIS. Assist the Event Operations team as need to support events. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel,PowerPoint, and Outlook.

OTHER DUTIES

Be a team player, helping others whenever assistance isneeded. Provide back up support for PA and AV Departments asneeded.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT NEEDED

Basic office systems including but not limited to computersystem & programs, cellular phone. Proficient with all types of hand and power tools. Able to work safely using different types of lifts.

ATTENDANCEREQUIREMENTS

Hours will vary but will include all hours the officeis open, evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary to attendevents and to fulfill job responsibilities.

Professional:

Minimum of one-year related experience. Projectsa professional company image though verbal and writtencommunication. Presents self in a professional manner and haveability to interact with all levels of organization internal andexternal.

Interpersonal Skills:

Listens to others, ability to follow oraland written instructions effectively, responds to manager’sinstructions and accepts feedback.

Personal:

Project a positive image to internal (employees) andexternal (fans, vendor, other sports professional, communitymembers) customers, communicate effectively and professionally atall times, comfort and experience with public speaking, exerciseexcellent managerial judgment, ability to manage multiple projectssimultaneously, problem solve and be a team worker. Dependabletransportation to and from work is required.
