This role involves managing various aspects of event coordination, ensuring that all events run smoothly and meet the expectations of clients and guests alike. Duties Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion, including corporate meetings, weddings, banquets, and other special occasions. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and budget constraints. Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts for catering, audiovisual services, decorations, and entertainment. Oversee event logistics such as venue selection, layout design, catering arrangements, and guest services. Monitor event budgets to ensure financial targets are met while maintaining quality standards. Provide exceptional customer service to guests before, during, and after events to ensure satisfaction. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. Experience Proven experience in event planning or coordination within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong guest services skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management related to event planning. Knowledge of market trends in the event industry to create innovative experiences. Proficient in contract negotiation with vendors and service providers. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, vendors, and team members.
