Event Staff Saplings Port Orange Port Orange, FL 32129 Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Event Staff to join our team for various events. This role is essential in ensuring that all aspects of the event run smoothly and that guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in customer service and hospitality, with the ability to engage with guests and manage event logistics effectively. Duties Assist in the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring all equipment and materials are in place, including ironing. Provide excellent customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. Manage guest registration and check-in processes efficiently. Support event coordinators in executing event plans, including activities and schedules. Monitor event areas to ensure safety and cleanliness throughout the duration of the event. Engage with guests through public speaking when necessary, providing information about the event or activities. Skills Strong background in customer service and guest services to enhance guest experiences. Experience in events management to assist with planning and execution of successful events preferred. Ability to communicate effectively through public speaking , ensuring clarity when addressing groups. Knowledge or experience in hospitality settings, contributing to a welcoming environment.
