You will be responsible for our team’s success by managing assigned event projects from concept to completion. The Event Manager is a full-time salaried position reporting to one of the company’s owners who oversees event development and management projects. We’re looking for someone with: A minimum of 3-5 years of festival planning and management experience is essential. Experience in budgeting for events and managing financial aspects effectively. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of vendor management is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, and Google Drive. The ideal candidate would have AutoCAD experience and basic skills with Abode Creative Suite software.

Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute events from conception to completion while managing all project phases. Develop event concepts and themes in collaboration with clients to ensure their vision is realized. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring all events are delivered within financial constraints. Provide operational planning for assigned event projects, including general planning and organization, permit procurement, and booking/management of vendors, suppliers, activities, and whatever it takes to make the event happen. Increase event profitability by streamlining operations, promoting staff efficiency, and developing income and expense-saving opportunities. Maintain comprehensive and accurate records on assigned projects. Maintain strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously while adhering to timelines. Develop event site maps and supporting documentation detailing all elements and assets needed for on-site execution. Foster favorable relationships with logistics vendors, rental companies, and strategic partners. Negotiate and manage vendors’ services for assigned event projects. Develop and manage pre-event communications with event participants (performers, vendors, sponsors, etc.) to organize and fulfill their on-site needs. Manages event execution on-site and provides leadership and direction for the event support team. Troubleshoot operational challenges to achieve successful outcomes. Create post-event evaluations for internal review and external distribution to clients. Attend regular staff meetings and event organizational meetings as required. Maintains company and client confidentiality.
