14853 EXPERIENCES / Responsible for planning and driving event and experiential marketing programs •Our headquarters are in Stamford, CT, but the location of this position is in Atlanta, GA.•Our team is searching for a Senior Event Executive who can help take a creative idea and bring it to life on-site for brands to own and consumers to enjoy. This role works with College GameDay and some of the biggest names in college football to bring this best-in-class partnership to life each week. And when it’s not football season? You will assist in the simultaneous activation executions for our client at the Men’s and Women’s Final Fours. This position requires strong team dynamic skills and excellent interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone that is eager to try something new, dig in and work through complexity while having a lot of fun along the way. You’ll be a key member of a collaborative team that plans and executes events. You will create planning documents, work with partners and vendors, manage logistics, and interact with consumers on-site. The ultimate goal? Planning and executing world-class experiences for our brand clients and the consumers they are engaging with.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

Support the team planning and implement the client’s College GameDay and NCAA Men’s and Women’s Final Four activations
Collaborate with a variety of specialty groups within Octagon (creative, client services, digital, etc.) to develop and implement multi-faceted, branded experiences
Assist in the management of vendors and partners to work alongside and bring activation elements to life from concepting to on-site execution
Interact with consumers, direct temporary staff, and own certain elements on-site during events
Work with internal colleagues to produce execution guides, program recaps, and other event-related documents
Participate in brainstorms and creative ideation while providing research as needed
Other related duties/projects as reasonably assigned
Travel to College GameDay broadcast locations regularly and Final Four host cities for the activation and supervision of the client’s programming, including non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR A

passion for sports, entertainment, live events, and experience marketing
2-3 years of work experience in event production or experiential marketing
A desire to learn, explore, and embrace new experiences
Solution-oriented approach, offering answers or recommendations to challenges
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and overlapping deadlines
A sense of humility and desire to be a collaborative in a team-centric environment
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Willingness to work non-traditional event hours and travel for work (35% travel in season)
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for up to or more than 8 hours at a time
Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed.

Anticipated travel level:
