Full Job Description Purpose:
Support the spiritual well-being of single Airmen by planning, organizing, and executing ministry activities. The position focuses on building relationships, promoting resiliency, and fostering spiritual growth in coordination with Chapel staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Volunteer Management :
Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers.
Program Execution :
Lead weekly social events, monthly community service, and regular faith-based gatherings.
Administration :
Maintain records, budgets, calendars, reports, and equipment inventory.
Promotion :
Publicize events using social media, flyers, and presentations to Airmen councils and leadership groups.
Compliance :
Follow all Air Force, federal, and local policies and undergo background checks.
Coordination :
Work closely with Chapel staff and attend required meetings.
Hours :
Max 30 hours/week.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant ministry experience in military settings. Skilled in event planning, budgeting, communication, and volunteer coordination. Proficient with Microsoft Office, social media, and AV/gaming equipment. Must demonstrate understanding of Air Force Core Values and be able to work in a multi-faith environment.
