We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Event Assistants. This role is perfect for students or those looking to gain hands-on experience in event management without prior qualifications. As an Event Assistant, you will play a key support role in various aspects of event planning and execution. Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Event Preparation:
Assist with logistical planning and organization of event materials Help prepare event venues including setup of furniture, decorations, and equipment Support inventory management and packing/unpacking of event supplies
On-Site Event Support:
Serve as a point of contact for attendees, providing directions and information Manage registration processes and assist with guest check-in procedures Help coordinate event flow and support presenters/speakers as needed
Post-Event Activities:
Participate in venue breakdown and cleanup operations Assist with collecting and organizing attendee feedback Support administrative tasks including data entry and report preparation
Additional Duties:
Run errands related to event preparation and execution Provide general administrative support to the events team Assist with basic social media coverage during events when required
Qualifications and Skills:
Essential Requirements:
Currently enrolled student or recent graduate Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Basic computer proficiency (email, Word, Excel)
