Event Services Coordinator 2.1 2.1 out of 5 stars 1507 Magazine Street, New Orleans, LA 70130 Pay Range $18-$20 Hourly The Event Services Coordinator is a role that provides an elevated level of administrative, organizational, and client-level support and service to the Sales and Events Leadership team at Hotel Saint Vincent and its clients. Provides Elevated Customer Service to all Sales and Events clients Prepare, show rooms, and give tours to walk-in clients Create and organize Internal Events Oversee group blocks and rooming lists, ensuring accuracy using our reservation system Ensure the Accuracy of Billing for rooms and events. Manage the events calendar to ensure events are communicated property-wide. Order and inventory sales, amenities, and supplies Ability to create and adjust BEOs as needed Responding to clients that events are more than 90 days out. Post Event Billing (ensure BEO and Banquet Checks align) Place Equipment/Linen Rental Orders Trained on All Front Desk Operations Assist with Managing the Influx of Phone Calls Provide support to banquet events pre, during, and post. Other duties as assigned by management Ability to maintain professionalism and excel in a fast-paced environment. Front Desk or Sales experience strongly preferred Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. Highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement Exceptional customer service skills required Professional attire required Strong computer skills, email, and Excel, must be trainable on Sales systems Excellent communication, follow-through, and presentation skills required Excels in Problem Solving and Time Management
