Duties Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and vendor management. Develop event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality. Manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with agreements. Implement effective marketing strategies to promote events and maximize attendance. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events to ensure client satisfaction. Oversee on-site event execution, managing staff and coordinating activities to ensure seamless operations. Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events with professionalism and poise. Requirements Proven experience in event coordination or a related field within hospitality or restaurant management. Strong knowledge of catering services, banquet operations, and hotel logistics is preferred. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships with clients and vendors. Familiarity with event marketing strategies to enhance visibility and attendance at events. Strong negotiation skills for upselling services and managing contracts effectively. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
