Job Description

Event Manager 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Charlotte, NC 28273 • Hybrid work The Event Manager will be responsible for planning and managing trade shows, customer entertainment, sponsorships, and other event activities as directed by Marketing, Commercial, and Corporate team members. This role will also have one direct report – an event coordinator. This position reports to the AVP, Marketing.

Responsibilities:

Accountability and responsibility for and ownership of the event calendars for DCLI and RapidLink Repairs Manage the day-to-day activities of the Event Coordinator Develop, implement, and oversee processes related to event execution Develop and maintain a network of relationships with third-party vendors instrumental to the successful execution of company events Manage costs associated with planned events and related expenses in alignment with the annual budgets for DCLI and RapidLink Repairs Create and distribute communications about events to internal and external audiences Apply creative acumen demonstrating the ability to bring brand and product messages to life at a physical event

Requirements:

BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, or a related field At least 5 years of experience in an event management role At least 2 years of managing a direct employee preferred, but not mandatory A portfolio of successful event execution Excellent communicator and process-oriented thinker Excellent project management skills, highly organized Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple, deadline-driven projects simultaneously Ability to think on your feet and problem solve on the fly Ability to delegate tasks to get the overall job completed Ability to work cross functionally and complete tasks through team organization and influence rather than direct line of supervision or authority Experience with Microsoft Office required Experience with Salesforce.com and Pardot (or other similar marketing automation platform) strongly preferred Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening Benefits We understand that your role at DCLI is only part of who you are.
