Job Description

Senior Coordinator of Event Presentation Hornets Basketball, LLC Charlotte, NC 28202 • Hybrid work Hornets Sports & Entertainment (HSE) is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Senior Coordinator of Event Presentation to support the planning and execution of fan-focused programming across Charlotte Hornets home games and events. This role is responsible for helping elevate the event experience and maintaining a consistently high standard of execution. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working cross-functionally to bring impactful experiences to life. Core Values HSE embodies the following core values: Integrity Teamwork Competitiveness Candor Accountability Resilience Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the planning and execution of game day and non-game day events, from concept to on-site delivery. Coordinate logistics and provide event support for pre-game and post-game activations such as cocktail hours, suite events, and fan engagement initiatives. Draft and distribute detailed event notes and run-of-show documents to internal departments, including Arena Operations, Technical Operations, and Security. Assist in coordinating travel and logistical needs for flyaway trips and destination events Approve and manage requests and scheduling for Court of Dreams activations, ensuring alignment with arena availability and organizational priorities. Lead weekly planning meetings with the Group Sales team in coordination with the Senior Manager to ensure alignment on upcoming events and group experiences. Conduct research and contribute to the planning of future events and group activations to support sales and marketing goals. Collaborate with departments across the organization — including Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Partnerships — to ensure events are cohesive, on-brand, and well-executed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities To perform the job successfully, you will have or demonstrate the following skills and abilities: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. 2+ years of experience in event planning, game presentation, or related field, preferably within sports or entertainment. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask. Experience in coordinating travel and event logistics for executive leadership preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly communicate across departments. Creative thinker with an eye for fan experience and detail-oriented execution. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with event management software or ticketing platforms is a plus. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule. Additional Information This is a full time benefit eligible position.
