Job Overview:

As an Event Planner you will be responsible for managing both full planning and partial planning services. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and oversee the execution of events to ensure they run smoothly and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
Full Planning Services:

Conduct initial consultations to understand client needs, preferences, and event objectives. Develop comprehensive event plans, including themes, timelines, and budgets. Source and secure suitable venues and negotiate contracts. Coordinate with all vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of services. Oversee event design and décor, ensuring cohesive and aesthetically pleasing setups. Manage guest lists, send invitations, and handle RSVPs. Develop detailed event timelines and itineraries. Provide on-site management on the day of the event, ensuring smooth execution and handling any issues that arise. Conduct post-event follow-up, including vendor payments and client feedback.

Partial Planning Services:

Assist clients with specific event planning aspects as requested (e.g., vendor coordination, venue selection, budget management). Provide consultation and guidance on theme, style, and event design. Develop timelines for key milestones and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate with selected vendors and ensure they meet client expectations. Provide day-of coordination to manage setup, execution, and teardown as needed.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Event Planner or in a similar role. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Creative mindset with an eye for detail and design. Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and work under pressure. Proficiency in event planning software and tools. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is preferred.
