ABOUT US

We are excited to add to our event team. The Event Support Lead will be an integral part of the events team during private events, festivals, and weddings. It is important that this person can enthusiastically work closely with others in a busy environment, can be a reliable part of our team, and have the drive and passion for Smuttynose. This is a seasonal position with a mix of days, nights, and weekends with the opportunity for year-round work for top performers. Ideal Candidate Experience in event management or hospitality Ability to lead a team and work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to adapt to a variety of roles as needed during events Role Facility Support

• Address any issues with facilities and ensure they’re maintained throughout the event Bar and Field Support
• Assist bar and field teams as needed, providing backup and guidance Vendor Coordination
• Confirm vendor arrivals, set up completion, and adherence to event schedules Staff Oversight
• Manage event staff, ensuring roles are covered and tasks are completed effectively Money Handling
• Ensure proper financial transactions and send event notes to the Event Manager after each event Why join us?
