Position Overview:

Laurel Lodging is seeking a dedicated and passionate Area Wedding Specialist to join our team. This role will involve coordinating and executing wedding events across four of our premier hotel locations, ensuring each couple’s special day is memorable and seamless.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Coordination:

Serve as the main point of contact for couples planning their weddings at our hotels. Manage all aspects of wedding events, from initial consultations to day-of coordination. Conduct site visits to showcase the venues and assist clients in making informed decisions.

Sales and Marketing Support:

Promote our wedding packages and services across the four hotel locations. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials targeting engaged couples. Participate in bridal shows and local events to enhance visibility and engagement.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and hotel staff. Communicate effectively with clients throughout the planning process to ensure their needs are met. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Logistical Oversight:

Work closely with hotel management and event staff to ensure all details are executed flawlessly. Oversee the setup and breakdown of wedding ceremonies and receptions, adhering to client specifications. Ensure timelines are followed for a smooth operation on the event day.

Budget Management:

Assist clients in creating and managing their wedding budgets, providing transparency and guidance. Offer accurate cost estimates and quotes for hotel services and amenities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in event planning or hotel management, particularly in weddings or social events. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
