Salary Range:

$16.00/hour The Summer Event Staff at TCNJ are responsible for assisting with the coordination and execution of various events hosted on campus during the summer months. This includes conferences, workshops, camps, and special events. The role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. The Lifeguard at TCNJ is responsible for ensuring the safety of all individuals using the campus swimming pool. This includes monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards must be certified and demonstrate strong swimming and rescue skills.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist with event setup and tear down, including arranging furniture, setting up audio/visual equipment, and decorating event spaces. Provide on-site support during events, including registration, greeting and directing guests, and addressing any issues that arise. Ensure event spaces are clean and organized before, during, and after events. Collaborate with event organizers to ensure all event needs are met. Handle administrative tasks such as creating signage, printing materials, and maintaining event supplies. Respond to guest inquiries and provide information about campus facilities and event logistics. Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor at all times Ability to lift and move event equipment and furniture. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
