Job Description
Develop high-quality customer engagement programs that advance the company brand through the delivery and execution of virtual events, in-person and hybrid events at industry trade shows and conferences, and company-hosted events in North America. Manage a portfolio of company-owned and third-party events, virtual events, and webinars. Collaborate with internal and external partners. Work with the Head of Marketing and the wider Group Marketing functions to ensure all events are well promoted, attended, and executed, and the company’s presence at events is well-managed, professional, measured, and aligned with business strategies. Manage event components for in-person and virtual hosted and sponsored events, including budget preparation, venue selection, hotel contract negotiation, website and invite creation, audio‐visual production, branded collaterals, exhibit shipping, catering, and speakers. Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop exceptional programs that generate brand awareness, interest, consideration, and sales opportunities for each event. Develop overall event planning strategies and collaborate with businesses to generate the best results for the company. Perform billing reconciliation of corporate credit card charges on a bimonthly basis and handle the Events Department’s invoices. Produce post‐event reporting and detailed analysis. Meet with the Marketing team and business relationship managers to understand short‐ and long‐term objectives across new businesses and brands. Work with Marketing and business partners to identify new opportunities. Keep business management teams informed and educated on event best practices, including pre‐ and post‐communications and measurements. Run satisfaction and feedback surveys for business stakeholders. Ensure high-quality hybrid and virtual event experiences for speakers and attendees by scheduling and planning meetings, handling technical preparation with speakers, and managing the run‐of‐show with stakeholders. Maintain event calendars and recommend events to attend. Maintain the inventory of promotional giveaways and exhibition materials. Keep informed of industry measurement trends and ideas. Utilize event management platforms (Splash), CRM systems (Salesforce), email marketing tools (Marketo), virtual event platforms (On24 and Zoom Webinar), survey/feedback tools (Qualtrics), content management platforms (Contentful) and online interactive polling and questions platforms (Slido). Work with event reporting and analysis; event planning and strategy; event management, including multiple event types, webinars, virtual events, and round tables; project management; marketing technology and social platforms; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; and, budget management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with event reporting and analysis; event planning and strategy; event management, including multiple event types, webinars, virtual events, and round tables; project management; marketing technology and social platforms; Excel; Word; PowerPoint; and, budget management.
