Position Overview:
The Manager of Private Events at Shiraz Kitchen & Wine Bar is responsible for the seamless planning and execution of all private dining experiences across our Chelsea and White Plains locations. This role acts as the main liaison post-booking and manages every stage of the event—from detailed planning through on-site coordination and follow-up. Exceptional organizational skills, a keen focus on guest satisfaction, and effective collaboration with internal teams are crucial for delivering high-quality, memorable events aligned with our brand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary contact for all private event clients post-booking. Represent Shiraz Kitchen with professionalism, warmth, and exceptional hospitality. Provide exceptional guest service throughout the entire event process. Maintain consistent communication with clients from initial planning through post-event follow-up. Plan, coordinate, and execute private dining and special events at both locations. Develop detailed event orders, timelines, and floor plans, working closely with kitchen and service teams. Manage event setups, décor coordination, and special requests effectively. Ensure guest satisfaction by actively managing service quality and promptly addressing any concerns during events. Personally greet, attend to, and remain present at events to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction. Anticipate, identify, and resolve issues proactively to ensure smooth event execution. Provide attentive, high-quality guest service consistently. Maintain thorough knowledge of Shiraz Kitchen’s policies, procedures, and standards. Be available during weekends, holidays, and late evenings, as needed. Have experience with event management tools such as Tripleseat, OpenTable, and event floor planning software. Perform other related duties as assigned.
