We specialize in exceptional participant experiences and accurate race timing/scoring. Here in Pennsylvania, we produce approximately 18 proprietary and 65 non-profit and municipal client races each year. Event Assistants are part-time employees who work both directly with our participants and behind the scenes. Most of our events are weekend mornings, and you can expect to work an average of 2-4 weekend days per month. Most of our events take place within 30-40miles of downtown Pittsburgh. Responsibilities will include some or all of the following: start/finish line set up course setup (placing signage and cones, setting up aid stations) registration and/or packet pick-up management participant, staff and/or volunteer coordination You’ll be successful if you have the following: sense of humor willingness to step in and do what needs to be done technology confidence great customer service sensibility Successful candidates who demonstrate an ability to handle pressure and learn quickly may have room to advance into event timing positions. Must be able to lift 40lbs. Must have reliable transportation. Running/Racing experience is a plus, but not required.
