Event Helpers for July 4th Celebration Penllyn Club 525 Gwynedd Ave, Blue Bell, PA 19422 Company Overview Penllyn Club’s annual July 4th Celebration happens on Friday, July 4th. This is special day needing many helping hands to make the day go smoothly. Summary Helpers and event facilitators will assist with the Club’s July 4th Celebration in various roles. The work is for ONE DAY ONLY, Friday, July 4th. Workers will be paid $15.00/hour, cash. Responsibilities

PARKING CREW

4 individuals needed. Working together as a team the Parking Crew will direct incoming vehicles first to the unloading area, then to the parking area in the field. The crew will be positioned at key points with flags to direct cars and will stay in contact via walkie talkies to coordinate traffic and keep things moving. The Parking Crew will actively direct cars from 9am to 2pm.

FIELD GAMES GROUP LEADERS

4 individuals needed. Field Games are conducted in the Club Field for one hour between 2:45pm and 3:45pm for kids between the ages of 5 and 12. Kids are sorted into four different groups based on an age range; Group Leaders will lead their groups of kids through the succession of events, keeping their groups together, focused and upbeat, and tally the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each event. Group Leaders must be confident, able to lead kids and make things fun. The object is for them to have a good time as they participate. After the games conclude there is a medal award ceremony and Group Leaders will assist with presenting. Group Leaders will actively work between Noon and 4:30pm.

Applicants should indicate if they wish to work in multiple roles (Such as being a Parking Crew team member, and then being one of the Group Leaders) Requirements Valid driver’s license Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Good physical health, able to work outside on a hot summer day. Prior experience in event facilitation and working with children between ages 5 to 12 is preferred.
