Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree and/orevents or meeting planner certification, or equivalent experiencein a related field. Four plus years of event management experience,preferably within a corporate, large venue, or event managementcapacity. Exceptional time management and organizational skillswith a proven record of success in planning, managing, andexecuting multiple events simultaneously. Excellent written andoral communication skills at all levels, with the ability tosuccinctly convey updates and project plans. Experience managingmid

Proven ability to workindependently and as part of a team, maintaining a calm demeanorunder pressure. Experience with event registrationsystems and event mobile app platforms.

Responsibilities:

We arelooking for an Events Planner to join our Agricultural Solutionsteam in Research Triangle Park, NC. Client’s Agricultural Solutionsdivision connects innovation, customers, partners and agriculturalexperts and integrates sustainability criteria into all businessdecisions. We help farmers deliver the best possible outcomes,working to achieve the balance between economic, environmental, andsocial value creation for sustainable and efficient agriculture. Asan Events Planner, you will manage, plan, and execute multiple,complex, and concurrent events to support the APN business in theUSA. This includes producing and managing all aspects ofhigh-quality events, utilizing digital environments and othertechnology platforms. You will need excellent stakeholder andproject management skills to ensure the alignment of eventlogistics with clear, results-focused execution, and the ability toidentify efficiencies and improvements to the events strategy. Youwill need to be able to travel up to 25% overnight in this role.

Planning and project-managing large, high-visibility tradeshows,customer events, internal conferences, and media events to createan exceptional experience that aligns with business and stakeholderexpectations. Overseeing logistics for events, including eventspace, contracts, agenda planning, AV requirements, meeting roomsetups, equipment and labor, menu selection, speaker coordination,sponsorship management, decor, signage, collateral, graphics,transportation, and event reconciliation and reporting. Ensuringclear communication with stakeholders throughout the planning andexecution phases to guarantee alignment and satisfaction.

Developing and managing relationships with vendors to securenecessary services and products for successful event execution,ensuring quality and adherence to budget constraints. Traveling toand managing all aspects of events on-site, ensuring smoothexecution of logistics and that the event meets established goalsand objectives. Identifying industry trends and best practices toimprove event efficiency, cost savings, and execution, whileassisting team members with events as needed.
