MULTIPLE EVENT STAFF
for a special store re-grand opening event in Columbia, SC. You will be assisting with general event duties and/or conducting food samplings while delivering product talking points and interacting with customers in conjunction with Walmart staff. Details below; we’d love to have you work!
WHERE:
Walmart, 1019 Old Barnwell Rd, Columbia, SC 29170
DATES/TIMES:
5.16-5.25 (see shift schedule below; AM and PM shifts each day, you can work one or both)
RATE:
$25/hr DUTIES
- Including but not limited to—
- Set-up + break down
- Preparing + handing out food samples from a food truck or demo cart/table
- General event assistance; distributing merch, assembling giveaways, stocking shelves, inventory duties, organizing, etc.
- Floating + rotating stations to give other team members breaks
DRESS CODE
(All staff MUST comply with dress code, no exceptions)—
- Black long or short-sleeved button down or polo shirt
- Black dress pants
- Black closed toe shoes, non-skid
- No rips, tears, gems, patterns or large logos All applicants must have the ability to follow direction, work on your feet for the entirety of your shift, lift up to 25lbs, and execute event with clear communications and enthusiasm!
A short written report/photo submission may be required for payment.

Free parking will be provided at the store. At this time no travel or gas reimbursements will be provided. We pay according to our pay schedule on 6/1 via direct deposit or check through W9. You will receive further instructions & payroll paperwork upon booking.
