We are in need of a full-time Sales & Events Manager to generate sales and oversee event planning for the Hall. This is one of the highest profile Event Management positions in the Charlotte region and is an opportunity to be a senior member of our growing management team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Include but are not limited to:

• Implement systems and procedures to market and sell event catering and event space
• Work with food hall vendors to create and market their catering menus for on-site event bookings
• Qualify prospects and close sales
• Create and negotiate contracts
• Maintain and monitor the sales pipeline, including converting from inquiries to contracts and managing the process up to the day of the event, including obtaining deposits and final payments
• Create an entertainment program for the Food Hall, via regularly scheduled events, such as Live Music, Trivia Night, Music Bingo, etc.
• Market to key local leaders, such as city officials, large employers, health care entities, Business Chamber, and other non-profits
• Social Media management for the Power House
• Responsible for the profitability of

Food Hall Events Requirements:

• At least 3 years prior sales and events management experience
• Ability to negotiate and close contracts, and track profitability of events
• Ability to procure effective marketing materials and present them to prospective clients
• Extensive contacts with various entertainers
• Experience planning and executing events such as weddings, corporate events, craft festivals, concerts, bands etc
