SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER
Join the most fun team in town! The Chattanooga Lookouts are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our front office staff as we play our final season at AT&T Field and move to a brand-new ballpark in 2026. The Special Events Manager is a full-time position with benefits and will be a part of the Chattanooga Lookouts team. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Recruit, plan, execute and act as the primary on-site contact for all non-baseball events at the new Lookouts Stadium in the South Broad District. Work with all events from beginning to end including walk-throughs, pre-event planning, food and beverage planning, staffing, load-in/out, event execution and post-event settlement. Organize and schedule internal staffing for set-up, tear down and execution of events. Proactively solicit new business by making sales calls/presentations, attending trade shows, and engaging in other client prospecting, with the expectation of exceeding monthly and yearly revenue targets. Create leads and develop long term relationships in the event planning, production and promotion communities to enhance events. Implement marketing plan and strategy for stadium outside events, including updating and maintaining all information on facility website, social media, and marketing materials with regards to rentals/events. Work with the creative team to create compelling marketing materials for use in print, digital and trade shows to showcase the facility and its multitude of events we are capable of hosting. Properly compile and distribute all pertinent event information in an effective and timely manner. Provide superior customer service to clients before, during and after event. Perform other related duties as assigned. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required in the sport industry. Strong interpersonal skills are mandatory to interact and solve problems with customers, co-workers, employees and vendors. Salary is commensurate with experience and includes a base salary and benefits including employer sponsored health benefits and company 401K retirement plan.
