We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Catering & Events to oversee and elevate our club’s private events, weddings, and member gatherings.
Position Overview:
The Director of Catering & Events is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all private events, weddings, and club functions. This role requires a strategic, detail-oriented leader who can enhance the club’s event offerings while ensuring the highest level of service and satisfaction for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, market, and manage all private events, banquets, and club functions. Collaborate with members and clients to plan and execute customized events. Work closely with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team to create exceptional dining experiences. Oversee event budgets, contracts, and vendor negotiations. Maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and outside vendors. Ensure seamless event execution, from initial planning through post-event follow-up. Supervise, train, and manage the catering and events team. Develop and implement innovative event packages and marketing strategies to increase revenue. Maintain a strong presence at events to ensure quality and service excellence.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality management (preferably in a private club, luxury hotel, or high-end catering environment). Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations. Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and manage multiple events simultaneously. Proficiency in event management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva. A passion for delivering high-quality experiences and exceeding guest expectations.
