Traveling Event Manager Compass Rose Events 1500 Corporate Place, La Vergne, TN 37086 Travel the Country Delivering Large, Outdoor Corporate Events! Join the Compass Rose Event Management Team and play a key role in delivering extraordinary outdoor corporate events. We excel in Family Fun, Delicious Food, and Stellar Organization and Logistics. As a Compass Rose Event Manager, you will specialize in providing exceptional customer service backed by your event industry expertise. We are seeking Entertainment Managers, Culinary Managers, and Lead Event Managers.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service Oversee the setup, execution, and teardown of large outdoor corporate Family Days and Employee Picnics Supervise and instruct temporary and volunteer labor Drive a 26ft box truck loaded with event equipment Unload trucks, set up equipment, manage event day operations, and tear down equipment Prioritize and communicate safety at all times Treat clients with utmost respect and ensure everyone has a great time
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old Valid driver’s license with a responsible driving record for the past 5 years Strong work ethic with a “Can Do” attitude Smart, organized, and a multi-tasker Physically capable of being able to carry up to 50 pounds and enjoys hands-on, outdoor work Team player Able to pass a
Criminal Background Check and Drug Test Preferred Qualifications:
Event experience Truck driving experience
Additional Information:
Employment starts on May 19th, 2025 and is seasonal, ending on October 31st, 2025 but may be extended if both employee and employer agree Includes 6 weeks of paid training Event Managers start at $18.00 per hour during training; Rate after training is based on performance and ability. $100 financial incentives per event based on performance and customer service Most events require long weekend work (Thursday through Sunday) with travel and overnight stays; travel costs and food allowance covered Housing assistance available for out-of-state employees
