Assistant Event Coordinator Lake Bomoseen Lodge & Taproom 2551 Vt Route 30 North, Bomoseen, VT 05732 Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for planning and executing memorable events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed from start to finish. This role requires strong communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Experience in banquet services, hotel operations, or event marketing is highly desirable. Responsibilities Work with our established team to plan, coordinate, and execute various events including corporate meetings, weddings, and social gatherings. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for each event. Develop event timelines and ensure all aspects of the event are executed according to schedule. Oversee event setup and breakdown to ensure all elements are in place for a successful experience. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process and during events. Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and improve future events. Requirements Proven experience in event coordination or related fields such as restaurant or hotel operations. Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and vendors. Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Knowledge of catering services Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
