Team Member Basic Function:
This position requires a professional, positive, friendly presence while interacting with guests in the Café. The main task of this position is to serve our Guests in an efficient manner, while providing exceptional food, service and cleanliness. World Class customer service is a must. Make every effort to ensure that each guest that you come in contact with is having an exceptional shopping and dining experience and if they aren’t, understand what you can do to help the situation. A hospitable attitude and demeanor is crucial to this position.
General Responsibilities:
Friendly, Hospitable interaction with guests at Cups Café Demonstrate knowledge and execution of Alabama Health Code requirements Familiarity with full menu Prepare food in timely manner Take orders accurately and efficiently Operate cappuccino machine in timely manner Be accountable for completion of daily tasks lists Be accountable for completion of deep cleaning task list each day Maintain clean working environment at all times as part of Alabama Health Department standards Keep product areas full stocked (merchandise coolers, chip rack, etc) Correctly demonstrate cash register procedures from opening to closing Demonstrate knowledge of company policies and procedures All other tasks assigned by management
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time Ability to work close to cleaning products (e.g. Bleach) Ability to work in small space with many staff members Light to moderate lifting is required
Schedule Hours:
Up to 28 hours per week, requiring one to begin as early as 6:30 am and stay as late as 5:30-6:00 pm. Flexibility in scheduling is required. Saturdays are required All major holidays are also a requirement (excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day) Wednesday and Friday of Thanksgiving Week are required Annual Winter & Ski Event (1st Saturday in November) required Any special events/promotions are required
