We are currently seeking Food Service Team Members to join our TEAM in Huntsville, AL. Team Member will be apart of the Child Nutrition program and will participate in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and the cleaning of equipment, and facilities. Duties:

Adheres to all U.S.D.A. guidelines established for the Child Nutrition Program Maintains optimum standards of food quality through effective use of standardized recipes and cooking procedures. Assists in planning food preparation schedules. Participates in the preparation, cooking and serving of food. Inspects food, supplies and equipment deliveries for quantity and compliance with specifications. Assists with inventories of food, supplies, and equipment as directed. Manages and participates in approved cleaning and safety practices to ensure that sanitary and safe conditions are maintained. Maintains food quality standards (temperature, appearance and taste) from point of preparation through point of services Performs other duties, as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency certificate. Must be able to obtain a State of Alabama Background Check Two years of Food Services experience or any equivalent combination of education and work experience in a food service operation Ability to maintain harmonious relations with students, school staff, vendors and volunteers. Skill in the care, maintenance, sanitation and operation of equipment. Ability to perform work requiring sustained physical effort, lifting objects up to 50 lbs. independently and continuous standing. Ability to perform work requiring periods of temperature extremes Possess good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Must be dependable
