Sandwich Maker Claudias 1024 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06032 Overview Claudia’s is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting delicious sandwiches and ensuring a high standard of food safety and sanitation. You will play a key part in providing excellent customer service while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with health regulations. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining the dining area to ensure a pleasant experience for customers. Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register or Aloha POS system. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during peak hours. Skills Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operating cash registers. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Experience in grocery store settings is a plus but not required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to sandwich making and customer service.
