Sandwich Maker Claudia’s Grinder Shop 1024 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, CT 06032 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring exceptional customer service. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and contributing to a positive dining experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Claudia’s is a mom and pop sandwich shop open since 1997. Our owners are hands on, very friendly and outgoing. We consider all the members of our staff as a close knit family. We are so excited to meet you and potentially have you join our team! Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food preparation area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions regarding menu items. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and high-quality food preparation. Utilize time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or grocery store setting is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a commitment to delivering quality food are essential for success in this role. Reliable transportation to Farmington Hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11am-3pm Employee lunch is provided as well!
