In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met and that customers leave satisfied with their experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations on deli products. Prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and work surfaces. Operate cash registers accurately, handling transactions efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures. Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist in restocking as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies regarding food preparation and storage. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction. Skills Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proficiency in basic math for accurate cash handling and inventory management. Experience in the food industry, particularly in a kitchen or quick-service fast food restaurant setting. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory control and sales tracking. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor to foster positive customer interactions.
