The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and customer service, ensuring that each sandwich is crafted to perfection. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Assist with food preparation tasks, including slicing vegetables, meats, and cheeses as needed. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Perform bussing duties to keep the dining area clean and inviting for customers. Follow all health and safety regulations within the food industry to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory are essential. Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is highly desirable. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure in a team-oriented setting are key attributes for success in this role.
