Sandwich Artist/Cashier Froggy’s Sandwiches New Fairfield, CT 06812 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality sandwiches and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a blend of culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented atmosphere. Duties Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and company standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of all ingredients. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively. Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and special requests. Requirements Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar food industry environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices. Strong math skills for cash handling and retail math applications. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
