Part-time weekends and other days as needed Job purpose Represents the first point of contact and responds or directs people accordingly, and supervises others working in the same capacity. Act as support to Facility Management and Lifestyle Program. Duties and responsibilities Qualifications Perform responsibilities of Opening and Closing procedures for the Town Hall Amenity Center. Cleaning of the Front/Back Entrance Doors and vacuuming of the mats Daily checks of all restrooms: restock supplies as needed Give tours of the Town Hall Amenity Center Maintain and update Resident and Member files Set up and take down of events The Front Desk Attendant/Coordinator is responsible for promoting member and guest relations, representing the Town Hall Amenity Center in a professional and courteous manner. Answer member questions as they relate to Memberships, Fitness equipment, classes, and events programming. The Front Desk Attendant/Coordinator will always maintain professional conduct. Enforce Town Hall Amenity Center Rules and Regulations Address member issues promptly and forward member complaints to management Responsible for daily review of the Communication Log and Sign-In Log Sheet Responsible for registering members and guests and for charging appropriate fees Conduct periodic safety inspections of equipment and work areas Post charges using the IBS System Update monthly calendar of events Take inventory of Office and Cleaning Supplies Place orders for Office and Cleaning Supplies Maintain RSVP List of Events Make Welcome Packets for New Residents, Renters, and Members Assign and log in Transponders Perform other duties as assigned Working conditions Work is both indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 20 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes. Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf’s Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance team member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other staff member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance.
