Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Enrollment Team Member is responsible for providing high-level customer service throughout the implementation of the volunteer and child enrollment process. The primary functions for enrollment will be producing positive outcomes in volunteer output and processing time; youth output; youth/parent processing time and customer satisfaction. These functions will be conducted in accordance with the Big Brother Big Sisters Standards of Practice/Program Manual.
Candidates must possess the following:
Belief in our vision: that all children achieve success in life. Desire to make a positive community impact, through proven mentoring programs. Experience working with youth and volunteer services. Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field, will consider an Associate’s degree; and or relevant experience working in a related field. Ability to have genuine and open interpersonal communications. Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment, utilizing a variety of technologies. Ability to contribute and participate in a team structure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Proficiency with web-based performance management and database tools. Strong organizational and time management skills including the ability to set and meet deadlines and work independently. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing, concisely with clarity, warmth, humor and tact. Ability to focus on details, while keeping the “big picture” in perspective. • Must be able to pass a criminal background check as conducted by the agency. Must have reliable transportation.
General Responsibilities:
Check status of enrollments daily via database. Provide enrollment paperwork, including orientation video and verify completion of all other enrollment steps and documentation. Schedule client enrollments including parent/child/volunteer interviews. Ensure high-level proficiency in applying child safety and risk management knowledge, policies and procedures throughout all aspects of job function. Review and follow-up on needed documents as appropriate to ensure completion of enrollment process. • Conduct parent and client reassessments when necessary. Enter customer/client information into the database as information is gathered and maintain accurate paperwork according to BBBSA and agency standards. Provide support at agency events as needed.
