WHO WE ARE

Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q is a rapidly growing, fast-casual southern Bar-B-Q franchise based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Our location in Tallahassee is currently looking to hire two energetic, outgoing, and service-minded people to join our day shift (10:00 am – 4:00 pm) team. We have a fun, fast-paced atmosphere and offer hourly wages plus an equal share of tips that make the pay very competitive. We are growing throughout the region, and interested candidates can expect opportunities to grow with us.

Our priorities are simple:

consistently provide an excellent southern bar-b-q experience to each and every valued customer. Service is first and foremost with us, and our food is a close second.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Above all other traits, the characteristics we are looking for are RELIABILITY, HONESTY, and a positive, outgoing, team-player attitude. You must love serving people, plain and simple, and be able to work well on a team. HOURS We are hiring both part-time (10-29 hours) and full time (30-40 hours) front of house team members, for all shifts (mornings, afternoon and nights), and you must be able to work weekdays and weekends alike. We routinely have additional work opportunities, outside the ‘office’, so to speak. We do a ton of catering and deliveries, and those seeking additional means to earn money can indicate their interest in doing so once hired. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Restaurant experience and serve-safe licenses are a huge plus, but not a hard requirement. We are hiring for all shifts, but persons who can work morning shifts will be given preference. We are looking to make our hires ASAP, and all interested candidates must be able to travel to the restaurant for an in-person interview if selected. We are going strong only two years after opening, and looking to expand soon. Come join the fun!
