Sandwich Artist Gateway Subs 2215 60th Avenue East, Ellenton, FL 34222 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer specifications and recipes. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system. Upsell additional items to customers to enhance their dining experience. Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the café area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or grocery store environments is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and retail math is a plus. Strong cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems, particularly Aloha POS. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team setting. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A passion for food and customer service, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
