Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, preparing beverages, and serving food items
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the dining area, kitchen, and restroom
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs in a timely manner
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, and specialty drinks
- Assist with retail math calculations for cash handling and transactions
- Assist with food preparation, such as assembling sandwiches or pastries
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and allergens to provide accurate information to customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with different types of coffee beans is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail calculations
