The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving high-quality deli products in a fast-paced environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting deli products, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, while adhering to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including equipment and utensils. Operate the Aloha POS system for cash handling and processing customer transactions accurately. Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health regulations by regularly sanitizing work areas and equipment. Assist in bussing tables and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the dining area. Utilize time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours while maintaining quality standards. Experience Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or food industry setting is preferred. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math is beneficial. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Experience using POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus but not required; training will be provided. A commitment to maintainingo high standards of hygiene and sanitation in food preparation areas is essential.
