The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a particular focus on pizza making. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas that exceed our customers’ expectations while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Must know oil based dough. Duties Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences. Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality, adhering to food safety standards. Manage the pizza-making process from dough preparation to final presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain an efficient workflow during peak hours. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, following proper food handling procedures. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza recipes or variations based on seasonal ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food service environment. Skills Proven experience as a cook, preferably in the food industry or fine dining establishments. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques, including dough making and topping selection. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
