Back of House Team Member Leahi Health The Villages The Villages, FL 32162 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Food Preparation Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and assembling food items in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your contributions will help maintain the quality and presentation of our menu offerings while providing excellent service to our customers. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes and specifications. Sanitize work areas and equipment to comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in cooking and assembling food items, ensuring they meet quality standards before serving. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure freshness. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Handle cash register operations when necessary, including processing transactions accurately. Experience Previous experience in a quick service fast food restaurant or similar food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential. A positive attitude with a willingness to help others is crucial for success in this role.
