Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations on deli products. Prepare and slice meats, cheeses, and other deli items according to customer specifications. Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels of deli products and assist in restocking as needed. Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently, including slicers, scales, and ovens. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. A passion for food and a willingness to learn about various deli products is a plus.
