Job Overview:

We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Deli Associate to join our reopening team at Firehouse Subs in Johns Creek. As a Deli Associate, your primary responsibility will be slicing premium meats and prepping fresh ingredients daily using a commercial slicer. Your work ensures every guest receives the hearty and flavorful food Firehouse Subs is known for. This is a critical early-morning role that sets the tone for our entire day’s operation. You’ll be cross-trained to assist with sandwich prep and customer service during rushes.

What You’ll Do:

Slice deli meats and prep vegetables fresh daily using commercial slicing equipment. Accurately portion and label products following brand standards (2 oz., 4 oz., etc.). Rotate and stock prep line and cold storage to ensure freshness and efficiency. Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation. Assist the team during peak hours with sandwich making and order prep. Communicate professionally with coworkers and management. Support the team in keeping dishes, prep areas, and equipment clean and organized.

What You Bring:

Must be 18 years or older . Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working solo during slicing shifts, and collaboratively during rushes. Strong attention to detail, time management, and cleanliness. Reliable, consistent, and punctual — this position starts early! Food prep or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
