Food Preparation Associate Madison Restaurant and Bar Berkeley Lake, GA 30071 Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste and presentation. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service. Your expertise in food preparation and safety will contribute to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of ingredients. Assist in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to clients. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools. Support the dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within the food industry, preferably in a fine dining setting. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Proficient knife skills and ability to handle various kitchen equipment safely. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail in food presentation and adherence to quality standards. Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of organization.
