Back of the House Team Member Diversion Pizza 18773 Highway 22, Maurepas, LA 70449 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Back of House Team Member to join our dynamic growing kitchen staff. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service environment. You will assist the chef with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the team during daily restaurant operations. Duties Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking as directed by the head chef. Ensure all food handling practices meet health and safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation. Follow all safety protocols while operating kitchen equipment and handling food items. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is required Culinary training is a plus, our chef is classically trained from the Culinary Instatute of America and is constantly pushing the boundaries beyond pizzas. Pay is negotiable based on skill and talent level. Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
