The ideal candidate will have strong customer service experience with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role involves creating delicious cold subs, ensuring high-quality ingredients are used, and providing excellent service to our customers. Duties Prepare and assemble cold subs according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. Ensure all food handling procedures are followed, including proper sanitation and hygiene practices. Operate cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately and providing change as needed. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment regularly. Assist customers with their orders, offering suggestions and answering questions about menu items. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Qualifications MUST have experience in making Cold Subs. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Must speak English. Experience with cash handling and be willing to learn the POS System. Must be willing to answer phones and take orders. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is willing to help others and contribute to a positive work atmosphere. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays.
