Deli Clerk/ Kitchen Assistant cravings on the go 69 Boston-Providence Turnpike, Norwood, MA 02062 The Kitchen Assistant helps and supports the Kitchen Manager to deliver the menu meals to the required national and local health standards and Rojo.

Co standards. They support the Kitchen Manager in the effective operation of the kitchen and play an active role in the cleanliness and order of the kitchen, backroom food pantry, and storage. They are responsible for the preparation and serving of breakfast, lunch and dinner items for the convenience store kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

 To help wash and clean all kitchen dishes throughout the day.  To help put away deliveries in a timely manner and record inventory levels and dates.  To sanitize all required kitchen surfaces.  To dispose of waste correctly.  To ensure that all food is used within the prescribed period, with particular attention paid to perishable goods.  To contribute in the serving of food.  To keep the kitchen, food storage areas and preparation areas clean and tidy.  To clean all fridges and freezers as necessary.  Partner with the cook regarding breaks to ensure there is adequate coverage for the kitchen.]  To perform other such reasonable duties requested by Kitchen, Store and Site Managers.

Requirements:

1. Following all health and safety protocol and regulations 2. Assisting Kitchen Manager with any and all kitchen and food services duties in the store. 3. Putting away deliveries correctly 4. Great communications skills 5. Experience of working in a similar industry such as food service, catering or hospitality 6. Previous food handling experience 7. Ability to adhere to all health & safety practices 8. High levels of personal hygiene and appearance

$16.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
